FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: WHO CAN ATTEND VFYTH?

A: All 6th-12th-grade students are welcome!

Q: WHEN DOES VFYTH MEET?

A: We meet every Wednesday night at 6:30pm at our Norman, Chickasha and Shawnee Campuses. Our Newcastle campus meets at 5:30pm for middle school and 7:00pm for high school.

Q: WHAT CAN MY CHILD EXPECT TO DO?

A: Students will hear the message of Jesus and have fun doing it. They will have the opportunity to experience God-centered community by hanging out with friends and leaders within their small groups!

Q: DO VOLUNTEERS HAVE BACKGROUND CHECKS?

A: All VFC volunteers must complete an approved background check before serving.

Q: WHO IS TEACHING MY TEEN?

A: An amazing team of unbelievable Communicators, Leaders, and Pastors of VFC. Your child will hear clearly what it means to follow Jesus.

Q: DO YOU HAVE TO BE A CHRISTIAN TO ATTEND?

A: VFC welcomes everyone. We unashamedly preach and teach Jesus’ word, but we try hard to create the best experience for everyone that walks through our doors!

Q: CAN I STAY WITH MY TEEN DURING THE EXPERIENCE?

A: Safety is one of our many priorities at VFC. The only adults allowed to attend are volunteers who have an approved background check and have gone through our Get To Know VFC class. We welcome parents to serve as volunteers if you are interested in sharing experience with your student.

Q: WHAT DOES VFYTH BELIEVE?

A: You can find out what our church believes here.
