OUTREACH 2020
SINGLE MOMS DAY OF PAMPERING
At our Single Mother’s Day of Pampering, we served 130 single moms by fully detailing their cars, providing them with groceries, and free clothing accessories. The families enjoyed a fun day at VFC with food, petting zoos, and face painting.
SERVE DAY
This year, 350 volunteers generously served at 19 different sites across 9 communities. Some of the projects included cleaning local parks, landscaping, and renovating local non-profits and schools.
BACK TO SCHOOL
This year we gave away 850 backpacks and school supplies to children at all VFC locations. Additionally, we served 11 schools and 221 teachers in 6 communities by preparing schools to reopen. This included updating outdoor spaces and purchasing supplies for classrooms.
TOY DRIVE
During our drive-thru toy drive, our church family gave away over 1,500 toys to 211 children in our communities.
CHOSEN
We launched Chosen Outreach to equip the church body to minister and provide support for foster and adoptive families. So far, 173 volunteers have signed up to join the cause.
COVID ASSISTANCE
We donated masks to healthcare workers and first responders, grocery shopped for those at risk, and provided financial support for those in need.
