COVID-19 CHURCH INFORMATION
Family! We want to provide a safe environment for you and your family to come and worship freely at Victory Family Church. This page was created to help provide you with more detailed transparent information about our health and safety measures, general church updates and currently known cases within our church family!
Our Health And Safety Measures
All locations are open for in-person experiences. Online services are available as well.
At VFC Norman – Under City Ordinance O-2021-3, it is required visitors & employees, except those with qualifying exemptions and children under the age of 6 (six) years old, must wear face coverings to be admitted into the premises. Face coverings will be made available for you as you walk in the door.
In all other locations – To limit the spread of COVID-19, we encourage everyone to wear a mask before coming to church – Face coverings will be made available for you as you walk in the door.
Volunteers & Staff – To help facilitate a safe environment, our staff and volunteer teams will be wearing face coverings as they serve.
Social distancing is important for the health of our elderly and vulnerable family members. To aid in social distancing, we have spaced out seating (where applicable) and opened up the balcony (at the Norman location) for every Experience that is offered. We also encourage those more vulnerable to attend less attended experience times.
We take every volunteer’s temperature upon checking in. Anyone with a temperature above 100* is not allowed to volunteer and is encouraged not to be in the building at that time.
We have partnered with a professional cleaning service that specializes in sanitization. Our twice-weekly service includes a full building clean with an added focus on high touch point areas utilizing hospital-grade disinfectants, which are EPA registered, listed for use against SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19), and are OSHA, CDC, and EPA compliant.
In addition, we have teams in place that clean and sanitize high traffic and high touch point areas during each experience.
Each week rooms are professionally cleaned and toys are disinfected before and after each experience. We social distance kid’s by assigned seating, all toys are cleanable, and we are prohibiting snacks being served.
We take every kid’s and leader’s temperatures upon checking in. Anyone with a temperature above 100* is not allowed to enter the kid’s area.
Hand sanitizer is available in every room at all locations.
At our Norman location, where an active city ordinance for face coverings is in place, all kids kindergarten and up are highly encouraged to wear a face covering.

We completely understand, and we want you to feel comfortable. We invite you to stay connected online to help protect others who call VFC home. If any of the following applies to you, please worship with us online:

Hey Church Fam!
Sunday was such a fun day at VFC! It’s been awesome seeing many of you back at church and I’m so happy the rest of you are staying connected online. As great as it’s been, it’s certainly been the most difficult season I have ever tried to lead through, but the Lord has been faithful. I am also really proud of our staff. Very few people will ever know how much they have prayed, worked, and sacrificed to make all of this work.
I do want to let you know, we have 2 staff in Norman that tested positive for Covid in the last 10 days. As soon as they knew they had been exposed, they quarantined. Both of them did not attend church even before they tested, due to their possible exposure. We’ve also had a couple of volunteers test positive. Both of them were at church Sunday, September 27th. They did not test positive until several days after that but both felt like they know where they contracted the virus and it was before the 27th. Anyone who has been in contact with these volunteers or staff for more than 15 minutes has been contacted.
To be extremely cautious, we have decided to cancel all Wednesday night activities in Norman tomorrow October 7th.
Our Wednesday night Alpha will meet on Zoom this week. You’ll watch the talk together and then break out into smaller zoom rooms for discussion. If you’d like to join, click the link below to RSVP by 9am tomorrow. RSVP for Zoom Alpha Here
We’ve created a helpful resource to keep you updated. In the future, we will update this link anytime someone tells us they have tested positive. In the meantime, we will continue to sanitize before, during, and after every worship experience, encourage you to wear a mask while at church, and utilize the good ole elbow-bump instead of hugging or shaking hands.
Love you all! We appreciate your prayers and dedication to the House of God in this crazy season.
