Our Health And Safety Measures

LOCATIONS

All locations are open for in-person experiences. Online services are available as well.

FACE COVERINGS

At VFC Norman – Under City Ordinance O-2021-3, it is required visitors & employees, except those with qualifying exemptions and children under the age of 6 (six) years old, must wear face coverings to be admitted into the premises. Face coverings will be made available for you as you walk in the door.

In all other locations – To limit the spread of COVID-19, we encourage everyone to wear a mask before coming to church – Face coverings will be made available for you as you walk in the door.

Volunteers & Staff – To help facilitate a safe environment, our staff and volunteer teams will be wearing face coverings as they serve.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

Social distancing is important for the health of our elderly and vulnerable family members. To aid in social distancing, we have spaced out seating (where applicable) and opened up the balcony (at the Norman location) for every Experience that is offered. We also encourage those more vulnerable to attend less attended experience times.

VOLUNTEERS

We take every volunteer’s temperature upon checking in. Anyone with a temperature above 100* is not allowed to volunteer and is encouraged not to be in the building at that time.

CLEANING

We have partnered with a professional cleaning service that specializes in sanitization. Our twice-weekly service includes a full building clean with an added focus on high touch point areas utilizing hospital-grade disinfectants, which are EPA registered, listed for use against SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19), and are OSHA, CDC, and EPA compliant.
In addition, we have teams in place that clean and sanitize high traffic and high touch point areas during each experience.

VFKIDS

Each week rooms are professionally cleaned and toys are disinfected before and after each experience. We social distance kid’s by assigned seating, all toys are cleanable, and we are prohibiting snacks being served.

We take every kid’s and leader’s temperatures upon checking in. Anyone with a temperature above 100* is not allowed to enter the kid’s area.

Hand sanitizer is available in every room at all locations.

At our Norman location, where an active city ordinance for face coverings is in place, all kids kindergarten and up are highly encouraged to wear a face covering.
